Carter Owens, 18, was arrested on Feb. 14 and charged with two counts each of pornography involving children under 13 and sexual abuse of animals.
According to the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office, in early February, TPSO Internet Crime Against Children agents received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children of alleged child and animal sexual abuse on X (Twitter).
Deputies said the material allegedly involved child sexual abuse with children younger than 13 as well as the sexual abuse of animals.
TPSO deputies said the investigation was done in partnership with the Louisiana Attorney General’s Office and their ICAC Task Force and a collaboration of other law enforcement agencies.
