ISP cruiser struck by vehicle as snow falls in Indy
INDIANAPOLIS — An Indiana State Police trooper’s squad car was struck by another vehicle as snow and freezing conditions continued to cause slick conditions across Indianapolis Wednesday night.

ISP Sgt. John Perrine of the ISP Indianapolis District urged motorists to slow down as he described road conditions as “slick and hazardous.”

“Trooper Munn was inside his car on the scene of a crash when his car was struck by another vehicle,” Perrine said in a post on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter. “He was checked by medics at the scene and thankfully is okay.”

A Winter Weather Advisory was issued Wednesday night for Marion, Boone, Hendricks, Morgan and Johnson counties until 3 a.m. FOX59’s weather team projected that some areas could receive as much as two inches by the time the band of snow concludes around 2 a.m.
