3 injured in shooting on Far South Side

CHICAGO – Three people were injured after being shot Tuesday night on the Far South Side.

Chicago police said the shooting happened at around 9:10 p.m. in the 300 block of East 116th Street in West Pullman.

When officers arrived, they found three victims who had been shot lying on the sidewalk. The victims were uncooperative and did not provide any further information, according to investigators.

Police said a 24-year-old man was shot in the leg and taken to University of Chicago Hospital in good condition; a 44-year-old woman was shot in the back and taken to Christ Hospital in good condition; a 20-year-old man was shot in the torso and leg and taken to University of Chicago Hospital in good condition.

No arrests have been made and Area Two Detectives are investigating.
