DUSON, La. (KLFY) — Students and staff at a Lafayette Parish middle school had their Monday morning routine disrupted when a bomb threat was called in to the school, authorities said.
Judice Middle School in Duson was placed on shelter-in-place status, which has since been lifted, according to a message sent to parents this morning.
“As per FBI protocol, law enforcement swept and cleared the scene and has determined that the bomb threat called into the school at approximately 8:15 this morning was non-credible,” the message read.
No changes to bus dropoff or pickup schedules were announced.
