By rssfeeds-admin COVINGTON, La. (WGNO) — Attention Northshore king cake fans, another way to snag the popular Mardi Gras treat is heading to Covington.
According to a news release, King Cake Drive-Thru is hosting a pop-up event in Covington on Tuesday, Feb. 18.
King cake lovers can get their fix from popular bakeries in the Greater New Orleans area, including Bittersweet Confections, Dough Nguyener’s, Hi-Do, Sucre and more.
Additionally, a savory King Cake Pizza from Theo’s Pizza with options including pepperoni and hot honey, pepperoni and ricotta and ricotta and fresh basil will be available. Organizers said the King Cake Pizza will be exclusively available at the Covington event.
Those wanting to attend the pop-up can visit 70488 LA-21 on Tuesday from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The King Cake Drive-Thru is only accepting walk-ups.
