JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A vehicle and an 18-wheeler were involved in a crash on a Jackson interstate.
The crash occurred on Interstate 20 East just past the Highway 18 and Robinson Road exit on February 6.

Detective Tommie Brown, with the Jackson Police Department (JPD), said a female driver was in a Honda with a child passenger.
Brown said the woman was attempting to cross from the right, eastbound lane of I-20 to the left lane. The woman was hit by an 18-wheeler that was in the left lane. No injuries have been reported.
Drivers traveling along I-20 East should expect delays in the area.
