HOLMES COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – A 19-year-old was shot and killed in Holmes County.
The shooting occurred on Highway 17 just south of Lexington on Saturday, February 1.
Holmes County Sheriff Willie March said Jeremy Keith, 19, was transported to a local hospital by a private vehicle. Keith died from his injuries.
According to March, deputies have a person of interest in the case, but no charges have been filed. The motive for the shooting is unknown.
