The following is a news release from the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office.
Bonneville County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating after a body was located this morning near the Peterson Hill Landfill on East Sunnyside Road.
Deputies responded to the area just after 8:30 a.m. after a passerby discovered a vehicle parked just off the side of the road with a deceased individual inside.
Deputies are working to positively identify the victim, notify the next of kin and investigate the circumstances surrounding the death. The Bonneville County Coroner’s Office is also assisting and an autopsy is pending.
No further information is available at this time.
