Melissa Gow, from Hillsdale County, told 6 News she was driving and towing a horse trailer in a rural area about 16 miles southwest of Jackson when a deer wearing what appears to be a hi-visibility vest ran across the road – safely after another vehicle stopped – and ran along the side of her truck.
“There is literally a deer with an orange vest running around confused at the corner of Sterling and Moscow,” Gow wrote on a Facebook post Wednesday.
At this time not much is known about the deer, how it ended up with a hi-vis vest, or where it ran. If you have any information to share with 6 News, please email newstips@wlns.com
The irony of a deer wearing a hi-vis vest – which also looks like hunter orange – was not lost on many people commenting online about the deer just being safe during hunting season.
