Cisco man pleads guilty to child sex crime, receives 25-year prison sentence

CISCO, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A Cisco man has been sentenced to 25 years for Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child and 10 concurrent years for Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements.

Rafael Domingo Ramirez, Jr. pled guilty in the 91st District Court to 1st Degree Felony Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child on December 4, 2024. He received 25 years in prison.

Cisco police shared that he also pled guilty to 3rd Degree Felony charge of Failure to Comply with Sex Offender Registration Requirements. He received a 10-year sentence to be served concurrently with the previous charge.

Ramirez also entered a ‘Guilty Plea in Bar, Penal Code Section 12:45’ to Possession of Child Pornography. Due to his admission to the offense and his plea of guilty to the previous charges, this sentence was dismissed.

Ramirez received a time credit sentence for two counts of Misdemeanor Furnishing Alcohol to a Minor. He is awaiting transfer from Eastland County Jail to a state prison facility.
