Abilene man sentenced to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to child sex crime

ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – An Abilene man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to a child sex crime.

James Moody received his 20-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to Aggravated Sexual Assault of a Child in Taylor County Monday. He must also register as a sex offender.

Moody is accused of abusing a child under the age of 14 in February 2023. No further information about the allegations was ever publicly relesaed.
