
The Roadrunners beat the Green Wave 48-26, and UTSA’s quarterback Owen McCown dominated the Olive and Blue defense: finishing 31/33 passsing for 370 passing yards and four touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Tulane’s QB Jake Retzlaff struggled. The BYU Transfer only completed half of his attempts (14/28) for 194 yards passing, one touchdown and two interceptions. The Green Wave inserted senior quarterback Brendan Sullivan into the game, after Retzlaff threw his second pick of the game in the third quarter.
Tulane is now one of five teams with a 3-1 in conference play and will travel to No. 25 Memphis for its next contest.
