
Mensah spoke with the media on Tuesday about his time at Tulane, return to the Uptown campus, and his expectations for Saturday’s contest.
“Tulane was great to me. They gave me an opportunity to be where I’m at right now, and I’m extremely grateful for those guys. Coach Sumrall is a phenomenal head coach, and I’m excited to go play him this week,” said Duke quarterback Darian Mensah.
Duke sits at 1-1 on the season after a 45-19 loss to Illinois on Saturday, while the Green Wave is 2-0 after a 33-31 win over South Alabama.
Tulane’s week three bout with Duke kicks off at 7 p.m.
