GRAMBLING, La. (KTVE/KARD) — Ed Orgeron, better known as “Coach O,” visited Grambling State University to share words of wisdom with the GSU football team ahead of their homecoming game with the Texas Southern Tigers on Saturday.

“Coach O” is no stranger to Louisiana sports, as he guided Louisiana State University to an undefeated 15-0 National Championship on January 13, 2020, led by quarterback Joe Burrow, running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire, and standout receivers Ja’Marr Chase and Justin Jefferson, defeating the Clemson Tigers 42-25 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.
The G-Men (3-2) will face off against TSU (2-3) for their homecoming game Saturday, Oct. 11, at 6 p.m. at Eddie G. Robinson Memorial Stadium.
