CHALMETTE, La. (WGNO) — In life and in the after. That’s the plan for 82-year-old grandmother Barbara Longbotham.

She love her kids, her grandkids and her good life.

And as WGNO Good Morning New Orleans features reporter Bill Wood is here to tell you, Barbara loves LSU.

She did not attend LSU, it’s just been her favorite school since she was a kid.

Her home is her Chalmette shrine to LSU.

“LSU is my life,” said Longbotham. “Love them so much.”

She had LSU Football season tickets for years.

Now, she’s still got the best seat in the house.

When it’s her time to got to tiger heaven:

“I will be laid out in purple and gold,” said Longbotham.

Because LSU in life means LSU forever.
