NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Department has named a suspect in an August burglary investigation. The case is the latest one to roll on the Wheel of Justice.

WGNO News featured the burglary investigation in a previous Wheel of Justice report. Police initially said that a business in the 2800 block of Franklin Avenue was burglarized on multiple occasions between July 22 and Aug. 3. At that time, they released security camera images of four suspects as well as two cars that police say they were used during the crimes. But police did not release any names in the case.

Now police have identified one of the four suspects as 42-year-old Coleman Vickers. They say he burglarized the business around 4:22 p.m. on Aug. 13. They also say more than $15,000 in tools was taken.

Police say Vickers is tall and slender with tattoos on his neck and both arms. They also say he should be considered armed and dangerous.

If you spot Vickers, police say you should call 911. If you have information that could help with the case, call Crimestoppers at 504-822-1111. You don’t have to reveal your name or testify in court, and you could be eligible to earn a cash reward.

So far, more than 475 people have been booked after their cases rolled on the Wheel of Justice.
