Veteran’s Park looking for clean up volunteers

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Shreveport Green is calling on community members to participate in a volunteer clean-up event scheduled for November 1st at Veteran’s Park.

The clean-up aims to enhance the local environment by maintaining the park’s trails.

Participants can find the location on Clyde Fant Drive, just north of Stoner Avenue, with a parking lot conveniently located between the northbound and southbound lanes.

Volunteers are encouraged to dress appropriately for the task, including wearing long pants and applying insect repellent.
