TERREBONNE PARISH, La. (WGNO) — The Bayou Dularge Bascule Bridge has fully reopened following the closure of it and six other bridges in Terrebonne Parish back in June.
According to the Department of Transportation and Development, the bridge was previously opened for limited rush hour times as repairs were still in progress. Now that they’re completed, travelers can utilize the bridge as needed.
DOTD officials say the Daigleville and Bayou Blue Pontoon bridges remain closed as they continue to be repaired.
The Daigleville Bridge is expected to reopen in October, while the Bayou Blue Pontoon Bridge, which was damaged in a boat collision, is scheduled for a reopening in late August.
