SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Shreveport Public Assembly & Recreation (SPAR) is hoping to make this year a bit easier for teachers in the city.
School is back in session, and SPAR is putting in an effort to make sure teachers are not forgotten when it comes to the school supplies collecting.
They are collecting items that they say will make a big difference in classrooms, including:
Erasers & clipboards
Colored pencils, pens & paper
Dry-erase markers
Electric pencil sharpeners
Hand sanitizer & disinfecting wipes
Lysol & Kleenex
Staples & copy paper
First aid kit
The “Tools for Teachers Supply Drive” will take place for one month, running from September 15 to October 15.
You can drop off your donations at any SPAR recreation center during regular business hours and help us stock classrooms with the supplies teachers need.
