
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Katrina Commemoration Inc. is hosting a Katrina Black Tie Fundraising Gala.
The group, which works to preserve the memory of Hurricane Katrina and advocate for disaster justice, will hold the event at Empire, located at 2222 Poydras St., on Saturday, July 26.
The gala will start at 8 p.m. and will be hosted by Wild Wayne and Margaret Orr. The event page states that guests can also expect live music performances, speakers, food and more.
According to the event flyer, guests should dress in semi-formal attire.
