New Orleans jeweler describes Taylor Swift’s engagement ring

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Superstar Taylor Swift and Super Bowl champion Travis Kelce are no strangers to New Orleans and the Superdome.

Last October, Swift performed three sold out shows for her Eras Tour and Kelce played in the 2025 Super Bowl with the Chiefs.

During a Super Bowl event, WGNO’s Kenny Lopez asked Kelce about what dish Taylor makes that he loves most. He said pop tarts, with a twinkle in his eye.

Swift’s ring is an old mine brilliant cut, said to be designed by Kelce himself and Kindred Lubeck Jewelers.

WGNO’s Kenny Lopez went to Aucoin Hart Jewelers to talk about the ring.

“Well, no question, I think the world has been following their relationship for a couple of years now,” said Tommy Aucoin. “Now it’s a fairy tale, and it’s all about the ring, and the wedding. We’re going to get lots of couples, lots of women, lots of men looking for this vintage yellow gold style. So, this is very much the style.”

Well wishes have been pouring in for the couple on social media. Haydel’s bakery has offered to make their wedding cake. President Donald Trump weighed in, wishing them good luck.
