NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The contracts for both companies in French Quarter waste management dispute set to begin Friday, Aug. 1.
The French Quarter Management district signed a contract with IV Waste Monday, July 28. It will cost over $450,000 a month.
Friday is also the day when Mayor Latoya Cantrell’s contract with Henry Consulting goes into effect.
The French Quarter management district said neighbors may see both companies working at the same time.
The state supreme court is reviewing a preliminary injunction, filed by French Quarter businesses and a resident, that would prevent the mayor from implementing her contract with Henry Consulting.
