Thousands gather at State Farm Stadium to remember Kirk, a conservative activist who was shot and killed in Utah at the age of 31 on Sept. 10. According to Turning Point USA,
Landry attended a vigil hosted by the LSU chapter of Turning Point USA and ordered flags to be flown half-staff in Louisiana after Kirk’s death.
“Charlie represented the very best of America— someone who was willing to listen and learn. Someone who encouraged free thinking and vigorous debate. We will not cower in fear or let evil win. We will fight even harder to advance the principles that Charlie fought so hard for, the principles that Make America Great,” Landry posted on X.
