Owner of The Kitten Cradle, Catie Gill, believes Shreveport is in dire need of new homes for kittens.
“You can drive down any neighborhood and see stray cats everywhere. So, finding them a home is that greatest joy of making that family complete,” Gill says.
It is certainly important to care for our pets. Event Coordinator at Sci-Port Discovery Center Mary Jo Henderson reminds us that our furry friends are just as important as the people in our lives.
“Of course there’s a need for pet adoption. God made pets just like he made people, and people are supposed to take care of pets,” Henderson says.
If you’re looking to adopt a cat or dog, please visit Robinson Rescue, The Kitten Cradle, or Port City Cat Rescue on their websites and socials for more information.
