BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — A Bogalusa man was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Livingston Parish on Monday night.

The Louisiana State Police identified the crash victim as Raymond Hanner Sr., 66.

Troopers said a tractor-trailer traveling west on U.S. 190 stopped and tried to back into a private driveway when a car driven by Hanner traveling east hit the back of the tractor-trailer and overturned.

Investigators noted that Hanner was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. He was partially ejected from the car and pronounced dead at the scene.

Two adults who were passengers in the car were wearing seatbelts and had serious injuries. A juvenile passenger in the same car was not properly wearing a seatbelt and had minor injuries. All were taken to hospitals after the crash.

The driver of the tractor-trailer was wearing a seatbelt and was left without injuries.

An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
