
According to the New Orleans Police Department, officers responded to a report of a shooting the in 1800 block of Hollygrove Street around 12:47 a.m.
At the scene, NOPD officers initially said they found a man with gunshot wounds, but later clarified the man had blunt force trauma wounds, not gunshot wounds. EMS pronounced him dead at the scene.
Around 7:55 a.m., NOPD officers responded to the 3200 block of Dumaine Street, where they found an unresponsive man with a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died.
