
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Department is on the scene of a triple shooting in Algiers.
Around 1:10 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20, NOPD officers were called in reference to a shooting at the corner of Nunez and Newton streets. Responding officers arrived to find a victim suffering from a gunshot wound.
They were taken to a hospital by EMS. Officers later learned two other victims had arrived at a hospital by car.
The conditions of all victims are unknown at this time. No further details are available.
The NOPD is in the process of gathering evidence and information to determine a possible suspect a motive.
