HOUMA, La. (WGNO) — A Houma man has been arrested following a child pornography investigation in the area which began back in December of 2024.
According to the Louisiana State Police, Special Victims Unit investigators began investigating a tip regarding the sexual exploitation of minors coming from a social media account that reportedly contained and distributed videos of child sexual abuse material.
Following the investigation, a search warrant was executed on the home of 35-year-old Kraig Thibodeaux on Thursday, June 26, leading to the man being arrested and charged with five counts of pornography involving juveniles under the age of 13, and one count of pornography involving juveniles.
He was booked into the Lafourche Parish Correctional complex as the case remains under investigation.
