KENTWOOD, La. (WGNO) — A Kentwood man was arrested on several charges by the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force on Oct. 31.
In August 2025, the TPSO ICAC Unit investigated the uploading of child sexual assault material on a social media app, according to TPSO ICAC detectives.
Through the investigation, detectives said they found that 44-year-old Michael Helton was allegedly the person who published the inappropriate content and got a warrant for his arrest.
Helton was booked on seven counts of pornography involving juveniles under the age of 13.
