HOUMA, La. (WGNO) — A Houma man was arrested on Monday, July 28, in connection with an investigation into alleged possession of child sexual abuse material.

According to the Louisiana State Police, 51-year-old David Stevens Jr. was arrested as a result of a larger LSP Special Victims Unit investigation.

LSP officials said they identified an IP address linked to Stevens at his residence in Houma that was allegedly downloading child sexual abuse material.

Stevens was already in custody at the Terrebonne Parish Justice Complex for a separate arrest. He faces 1,000 counts of Pornography Involving Juveniles.
