
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A man was shot and killed in New Orleans Wednesday, July 23.
According to the New Orleans Police Department, the shooting occurred at the intersection of Martin Luther King Boulevard and South Liberty Street. Police arrived on the scene shortly after 5:30 p.m.
Upon arrival they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to the face. He was transported to a local hospital and later died.
The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office will identify the victim.
