SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – A Shreveport family is seeking answers after a frightening incident in their home led to police issuing a warrant.

The situation unfolded when the victim’s daughter was awakened by the sound of breaking glass in the bathroom. Moments later, she heard additional glass shattering coming from her mother’s bedroom.

A short time later, the daughter reportedly was able to identify the source of the noise as her mother’s ex-boyfriend, Tramark George, breaking into their home. The witness said George peered into her room before leaving.

This recognition prompted her to alert authorities, resulting in an investigation by SPD.

Detectives have since issued warrants for George’s arrest on charges of unauthorized entry into an inhabited dwelling and simple criminal damage to property.

According to SPD, George has a troubling history, with four prior arrests linked to domestic violence.

The police are currently urging anyone with information about Tramark George or his location to contact the Shreveport Police Department at 318-673-7300.
