Legislators to host local hard-to-read license plate replacement event
MAHANOY TOWNSHIP – If your license plate is getting a little hard to read, you’ll have an opportunity to get a new one later this month.
State Senator Dave Argall (R-Schuylkill) and Rep. Dane Watro (R-Schuylkill/Luzerne) are hosting a hard-to-read license plate replacement event on Thursday, May 28.
It begins at 10am at the Mahanoy Township Municipal Building at 1010 West Centre Street and runs until 1pm.
The event is by RSVP only. You can call 570-773-0891 to RSVP.
A Mahanoy Township police officer will be on hand to inspect your plate to determine if it qualifies for free replacement and complete required paperwork.
