The move expands Brightline’s reach in Southern California, bringing its high-CRI studio fixtures, TrueTone technology and control platforms to a broader base of specifiers, integrators and end users.
LINX was created in 2024 from the merger of Forman & Associates and Western Lighting & Energy Controls. Brightline previously worked with Forman & Associates, a relationship both companies said lays a foundation for the new arrangement.
“We are incredibly excited to be working with the team at LINX,” said Kathy Katz, Brightline Lighting managing partner. “They bring deep market knowledge, strong relationships and a clear commitment to delivering best-in-class lighting solutions. Having worked with many of their principals in the past, we know firsthand the level of expertise and energy they bring.”
LINX is known for a consultative approach that supports projects from concept through completion, collaborating with lighting designers, architects, engineers, integrators and end users across architectural, entertainment and controls applications.
“Brightline is one of the most respected names in lighting design,” said Nicholas Forman, LINX Lighting + Controls co-CEO. “Their fixtures deliver exceptional color rendering, consistent output and the kind of control flexibility our clients demand — whether in broadcast studios, corporate environments or performance spaces. The ease of deployment, particularly with Brightline’s LED retrofit solutions, makes it simple for our customers to modernize existing installations while improving both light quality and energy efficiency.”
Brightline will showcase its latest technologies at LINX’s “Lighting & Line Drives” event May 20 at The Ultimate Skybox, a rooftop venue overlooking Petco Park during the Padres vs. Dodgers game. Attendees will be able to see product demos and meet with Brightline and LINX representatives.
