SPARTAN SENDOFF: North Schuylkill, fire companies cheer on state-bound academics, robotics team, PMEA musician
FOUNTAIN SPRINGS – As some outstanding students set off to represent our area in various state competitions, they received a district-wide sendoff Wednesday afternoon.
Fire companies from across northern Schuylkill County helped send off the North Schuylkill robotics team, academic team, and London White, who will be part of the PMEA State Band.
The sendoff began at the North Schuylkill High School and made its way down the street to the elementary center where children lined up out front waving as their high school counterparts passed by.
Robotics team members include James Bubnis, Kayda Monberger, Charlie Cuff, Joe Owings, Brody Balliet, Joe McAndrew and David Rodriguez.
Academic team members include Bianca McAndrew, Victoria Grose, Lorelai Grose, Joe McAndrew, Fabrizio Manganiello, Mattias Mah, Ryan McGurl, Garrett Ratkiewicz, Hadley Heyer, Ava Hubler, Charlie Cuff, Seth Cuff, Ethan Parham, Aidan Lazor, David Luna and Anna Mourad.
