Local high school musicians perform alongside Allentown Band

ALLENTOWN – Several local scholastic musicians were in the Lehigh Valley this weekend, performing alongside the Allentown Band.

Shenandoah Valley’s Josephine Kropp and five North Schuylkill Spartan Band members — Tanner Quinn, Henry Evans, Autumn Hendricks, London White, and Addison Lesher — all took part in the concert at Miller Symphony Hall in Allentown.

The band was led by Ronald Demkee, with guest conductor Loras Schissel and featured trombone soloist Scott Shelsta

The event brings 50 of the best high school musicians in eastern Pennsylvania together to perform side-by-side with the Allentown Band.
