Roadwork to close lanes on I-89 in Warner

Travel on I-89 in the Warner-Sutton area is going to get a little slower as a road construction project continues.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation says it will resume a reconstruction project on I-89 from Mile Markers 20.4 – 24.2, on Friday. The project could continue into June.

Weather permitting, construction will take place between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m., and will require daily lane closures both northbound and southbound. The project involves final paving NB, rumble strip installation and final pavement markings on both NB and SB.

Weaver Brothers Construction, Inc. of Bow, is the general contractor for this $15 million . M project which is expected to finish in early June 2026.
