Tickets cost $95. Each ticket grants entry to the flight deck starting at 7 p.m. on July 4. Only a set number of tickets will be sold, and they’re expected to disappear fast. Children age two and older must have their own ticket.
“Each year, the 4th of July celebration brings our community together in a powerful way,” said Patriots Point Executive Director Allison Hunt, according to Live5News. “As we celebrate Patriots Point’s 50th anniversary and America’s 250, we look forward to an evening that reflects the pride, history, and spirit of our nation.”
Attendees will enjoy views of the harbor while listening to local bands perform. Food and drinks can be bought on-site, though prices weren’t announced.
You can’t bring your own coolers or outside food. Folding chairs are welcome. The show happens no matter what the weather does — rain won’t stop it.
The museum shuts its doors to regular visitors at 3 p.m. that day. Want general admission? You’ll need to buy tickets before 2 p.m.
After closing, the parking lot stays open only for those who bought fireworks tickets. The Town of Mount Pleasant and the USS Yorktown Foundation back this celebration.
