Medialister, a platform offering guaranteed editorial media placements, has launched a new infrastructure layer that integrates AI assistants directly into the media buying process.

The company’s Model Context Protocol (MCP) server allows AI tools — including ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity — to access Medialister’s verified publisher marketplace and manage campaign workflows via natural-language commands.

Through this integration, AI assistants can search for guaranteed publisher placements using filters such as media category, country, pricing, SEO metrics, and audience characteristics. For example, a marketer can ask their AI assistant to identify U.S. technology publications with high domain authority and placement prices below a chosen threshold.

Beyond marketplace discovery, the MCP tools enable AI assistants to organize publisher offers, add guaranteed placements to campaign carts, and review account information — streamlining the editorial advertising process from search to purchase.

Medialister founder Alexander Storozhuk said the launch highlights the growing role of AI agents in marketing automation:

“As AI assistants become a primary interface for professional tools, marketplaces need to be programmable,” Storozhuk explained.

The MCP server is cloud-hosted and connects to AI platforms via a remote endpoint, requiring no local installation.

By merging guaranteed media placement capability with advanced AI integration, Medialister positions itself at the forefront of a new era in editorial advertising — where campaign execution becomes faster, data-driven, and AI-enabled.
