Fountain Springs fire displaces five
FOUNTAIN SPRINGS – Five people were displaced after a house fire in Fountain Springs earlier this week.
Crews from Schuylkill and Northumberland counties responded to the blaze in the 600 block of Fountain Street in Butler Township around noon Thursday.
Firefighters found heavy fire coming from the rear of the home.
Crews from Englewood, Lavelle, Shenandoah, Frackville, Girardville, Gordon, Ashland, and more al responded to the scene.
No injuries were immediately reported though the American Red Cross said they are assisting five people.
