NAB Show: Netgear to Showcase Expanded Broadcast Portfolio

At the 2026 NAB Show in Las Vegas, April 18-22, Netgear will highlight its new switch models and major updates to its Engage Controller software. The company’s network design services team will be available to answer any questions. Visitors can get a personalized demo of the updated Engage Controller v2.4 featuring Netgear’s profile-based approach for switch configuration.

The company is also offering on-demand sessions at the booth covering the design of IP-based broadcast networks for live production and facility environments. Visitors will find more than 110 partnering manufacturers showcasing broadcast solutions powered by Netgear.

During show hours, Netgear will host informal booth discussions highlighting real-world broadcast deployments and customer use cases. These conversations will focus on how broadcasters and systems integrators are working together to build reliable, scalable IP infrastructures for live production and facility operations.

Product Highlights

NEW – Expanded M4350 Switch Portfolio — Netgear has expanded its award-winning M4350 series with two new models designed for broadcast applications. The M4350-16M4V delivers secure, lockable connectivity with Neutrik etherCON, opticalCON QUAD and powerCON TRUE1 connectors. It features 16x 2.5G PoE++ ports (including eight etherCON), plus 4x 25G SFP28 uplinks via a modular card slot. Optional uplink cards include RJ-45 or opticalCON QUAD connectors for single-mode or multimode fiber.

The new M4350-16C model addresses the throughput challenges in large AV-over-IP deployments, providing 16 ports of 100G connectivity. Designed for aggregation and core layers where multiple high-resolution video streams converge, the M4350-16C gives integrators the bandwidth they need.

The M4350 series offers enterprise-grade managed switching from 1G to 100G, built for AV and IT networks. With high-power PoE++, redundant modular power and hitless failover, it ensures mission-critical reliability for broadcast and AV-over-IP. The new models support SMPTE ST 2110 timing with grandmaster and boundary clock functionality, and TAA-compliant SKUs are available for government use.

NEW – More Options for Engage Controller — Netgear’s free Engage Controller v2.4 now enables off-site network configuration without connected hardware, reducing on-site setup time and downtime. Integrators can design and fully configure virtual switches and access points for existing or new sites, then deploy when ready.

Multiple virtual sites can be saved as reusable templates and easily converted to physical deployments via manual setup or Auto-Onboarding. Engage also features the Netgear AV OS with certified profiles for major audio, video, and lighting protocols to simplify and accelerate deployment.
