The competition arrives as Chyron marks its 60th anniversary. To be considered, designers must submit four or more broadcast-quality scenes created with Chyron PRIME by the April 1 deadline.
“We are very committed to growing and nurturing a global community of Chyron users so that our customers have the talent pool that they need,” Carol Bettencourt, Chyron marketing VP, said. “This award is an important part of nurturing and applauding those who bring out the best in our products.”
Diego Soto, a real-time graphics specialist for NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises, was the most recent winner at IBC 2025. He was chosen from more than 30 entrants for his work in animation and data integration.
“Working with Chyron PRIME gives me the tools and creative freedom to bring my ideas to life,” Soto said. “It has been a great experience to use my experience as a designer with this modern graphics system.”
Submissions must include animations and may feature data integration, base scenes, style sheets and playout control panels. Past honorees include Zack Millican, Perry Littman, Tom Gray and David Burke.
Chyron is a provider of live production software, including CG graphics, production switching and venue control.
