Salesforce has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Momentum,
As agents scale across core workflows, extracting insights from customer conversations wherever they occur will become critical. Momentum’s universal ingestion engine will integrate with Agentforce 360 and Slackbot to capture interactions from third-party voice and video applications, including Zoom and Google Meet. Capturing high-fidelity unstructured data allows Momentum to deepen the context available to Agentforce 360 and Slackbot.

“To deliver on the promise of agents, we need visibility and context from every meaningful interaction,” said Steve Fisher, President and Chief Product Officer at Salesforce. “Momentum accelerates our roadmap by unlocking the long tail of conversational data and bringing it directly into our platform. This ensures Agentforce 360 and Slackbot can incorporate the true voice of the customer to drive complex, multi-step workflows.”
“We founded Momentum to bridge the gap between unstructured conversation and structured action,” said Santiago Suarez Ordoñez, CEO and Co-Founder of Momentum. “Joining Salesforce allows us to close the loop for GTM teams. Transforming the static audio of a meeting into structured intelligence that drives immediate revenue impact.”
The transaction is expected to close in the first quarter of Salesforce’s fiscal year 2027, subject to customary closing conditions.
Enterprise Times: What this means for businesses
Salesforce’s planned acquisition of Momentum appears to be a strategic move to enhance its conversational insights and revenue orchestration capabilities. By integrating Momentum’s technology, Salesforce will significantly bolster Agentforce 360 and Slackbot.
The acquisition enables these tools to ingest and analyse unstructured data from third-party voice and video channels, such as Zoom and Google Meet. This enhancement deepens the context available to agents. Moreover, ensures that customer conversations—regardless of where they occur—can be transformed into actionable insights within core workflows.
The statements from Salesforce’s leadership, particularly Steve Fisher, highlight the importance of capturing the “true voice of the customer” to drive complex, multi-step workflows. Momentum’s universal ingestion engine bridges the gap between unstructured conversation and structured action. It offers GTM teams the ability to convert meeting audio into structured intelligence that can drive immediate revenue impact.
Overall, the acquisition is likely to accelerate Salesforce’s innovation roadmap, providing greater visibility and context from customer interactions. If the integration is successful, it should strengthen Salesforce’s position in the market by delivering richer data-driven workflows and improved customer engagement.
The deal is expected to close in the first quarter of Salesforce’s fiscal year 2027. It appears poised to deliver tangible benefits for both the company and its clients.
