Boil water advisory issued for Shenandoah
SHENANDOAH – Water customers in Shenandoah are being asked to boil their water before use.
Aqua Pennsylvania issued a boil water advisory for town following “an apparent water main break” they say has resulted in a loss of pressure in portions of the water system.
Customers should use boiled or bottled water for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes and food preparation until further notice.
If anyone observes pooling or flowing water in odd areas that may indicate leaking pipes, call Aqua at 877-987-2782.
Customers will be notified when the Boil Water Advisory is lifted, Aqua says.
