Meta’s Quest 3S is $50 off, and includes Batman: Arkham Shadow for free
Meta’s VR strategy is in a bit of an uncertain place right now, with the company recently cutting many jobs at its Reality Labs, and discontinuing new content drops in beloved experiences like Supernatural. Even so, there’s still a lot of fun to be had with its Meta Quest 3S if you’ve been curious about jumping in. It’s a great entry-level headset, and the 128GB model is available at Walmart with a free copy of Batman: Arkham Shadow for $249 ($50 off), which matches its Black Friday price. Currently, no other retailers are offering this sale price.
The Quest 3S can play the same games as the pricier Meta Quest 3, with Batman: Arkham Shadow and Maestro performing impressively well in our testing. Additionally, you can stream Xbox games with a Game Pass subscription and even wirelessly tether it to a gaming PC to play SteamVR games like Half-Life: Alyx. The Quest 3S is powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 Gen 2 processor that’s in the pricier Quest 3, although its display resolution and optics quality are on-par with the Quest 22. It features full-color passthrough, allowing you to see your surroundings without removing the headset. And, to top it off, it comes with the Quest 3’s Touch Plus controllers.
