Mountain Home reported higher sales tax collections for the month, with increases across several revenue categories compared to the same period last year.
City sales tax collections totaled $599,733, up $21,911 from $577,821 a year ago, an increase of 3.8%. The year-to-date increase mirrors that gain at 3.8%.
Mountain Home’s share of county sales tax revenue reached $286,071 for the month, an increase of $17,931, or 6.7%, from last year’s total of $268,139.
Public safety sales tax collections came in at $224,900, up $8,216 from $216,683 last year, reflecting a 3.8% increase for the month and year to date.
Park improvement sales tax revenue totaled $299,866, exceeding the monthly 2026 bond payment requirement of $214,624 by $85,241.
Parks operations sales tax collections for the month totaled $149,933.
