Klient PSA AgentKlient has launched a new Agentic AI Agent for the Klient PSA, powered by Agentforce, the Salesforce AI Agent platform. The new Project Agent aims to augment humans within delivery teams, supporting them in managing tasks, time, and people.

The Project Agent is the first of Klients Agents that will aim to assist people within professional services firms. The agents have been created to automate, both proactively and reactively, common tasks that take up consultants’ time.

Yanick Abraham, CEO of Klient, commented, “The Klient Project Agent represents our vision of the hybrid workforce — where Human leads, and Agent delivers. By embedding intelligence directly into Salesforce project delivery, we’re helping teams make better decisions, faster, while maintaining the human connection that drives successful projects.”

The Agent can execute tasks based on prompts entered in natural language. Examples of the tasks that the Agents already understand and can assist with includes:

Weekly Sprint Planning

The Agent can assist by reviewing priorities, flagging progress towards milestones, identifying the workload balance, and highlighting issues. An example prompt would be, “Show high-priority tasks due this week in the Apollo project.”

Time Entry Verification

The project Agent assists users and project managers working with timesheets. It can validate billable hours across multiple timesheets and evaluate rate accuracy. A sample prompt would be “Show time entries for the Apollo project.”

Resource Allocation Review

Prompts could be specific or more general. For example, a user could ask the Agent, “Who’s assigned to the Database migration task?” It might also be asked to identify gaps or overutilization within the team in real time. A more general prompt would be “Give me priority and estimated hours for each task of the project resource planner module.”

Billing Preparation

Helps project managers with tasks associated with creating project invoices and quickly gathering data from across tasks and consultants. A sample prompt might be, “ Show all logged billable hours this month for the Apollo project.”

Project Health

It will enable users to quickly understand the health of any ongoing project. For example, a prompt could ask, “Show all overdue tasks with the assigned resource for the Apollo project.”

Rapid Project Creation

Users can upload a CSV or spreadsheet file and ask the Agent to create a project. A sample prompt to achieve this could be, “Create a project from this CSV file and write an agile description.” The process would take seconds rather than the hours a human might need to do the same task.

More Agentic AI to come

The Project Agent is the first release developed using Agentforce, and it will not be the last. Klient aims to create the first “autonomous project delivery platform, where humans lead, and agents deliver.”

It has plans to develop more PS Agents, including:

  • Forecast Agent
  • Resource Agent
  • Time Agent
  • Financial Agent

Powered by Agentforce

Klient is taking advantage of the latest release of Agentforce, which Salesforce revealed during Dreamforce last year. The Klient PSA – Project Agent is now listed on the Agent Exchange, part of the AppExchange. The AgentExchange is a marketplace or digital labour platform that enables organisations to identify different digital workers that complement their Salesforce solutions, both from Salesforce and their ISVs.

Every Agent listed on the Agent Exchange has passed Salesforce’s rigorous review process, enabling companies to transform into agentic enterprises faster and with confidence.

Brian Landsman, CEO of AppExchange and Global Partnerships at Salesforce, commented, “AgentExchange enables customers to seamlessly integrate trusted AI solutions within their workflows. Now companies can directly tap the expertise of our partner ecosystem to get the right industry-specific solutions like the Klient PSA – Project Agent, so they can build and implement AI agents and be the pioneers transforming their businesses into agentic enterprises.”

Enterprise Times: What does this mean

Klient has made a significant step in delivering autonomous project delivery platform. However, it also recognises that the platform augments, rather than replaces, humans in their roles. This is a significant step for the vendor, and one supported by Salesforce as it looks to extend its footprint in the PSA market.

Pricing is still in the first iteration, with Klient setting a POC price of $500 for 100,000 flex credits per year. It will be interesting to see how this price evolves over the year ahead. Especially as Salesforce itself is still learning and iterating on the price of Agentforce as it learns more about costs and usage.

Considering the potential productivity gains, this seems an attractive price. It will be interesting to see whether Klient can persuade one of its clients to share how it benefited from the solution, specifically through a financial analysis.

With further enhancements planned, Klient appears to have committed to developing its PSA to become Agentic AI-powered. It will be interesting to see how quickly rivals, particularly those outside the Salesforce ecosystem, can replicate the functionality.
