Freshworks has announced the appointment of Kady Srinivasan as Chief Marketing Officer. Srinivasan will report to Mika Yamamoto, Chief Integrated Customer Growth Officer. Yamamoto was appointed Chief Customer and Marketing Officer in November 2023, and she will continue to oversee the Marketing function. Her remit also includes Customer Support, the Small Business and Commercial Sales, and Customer Success organisations.
Srinivasan will now lead Freshworks’ global marketing strategy to amplify the company’s mission of delivering exceptional customer and employee experiences with uncomplicated service software. She has over 15 years of experience leading marketing functions at large SaaS companies, leveraging transformational marketing to drive revenue growth.
Yamamoto commented, “Kady’s mix of experience is a strong fit for Freshworks. She has successfully led large-scale, sustained marketing transformations and built high-performing global marketing engines that drive predictable, measurable growth across PLG, inbound, and enterprise go-to-market models.
“On top of her exceptional leadership qualities and proven business results, Kady upholds our value of putting customer needs at the center of brand building.”
Who is Kady Srinivasan

Srinivasan joins from You.com, where she spent what she described as “a short but thrilling few months.” She also served as CMO Advisor to Hightouch and Doss during 2025, roles she may continue.
She had previously spent over two years as Chief Marketing Officer at Lightspeed Commerce, Inc. (NYSE: LSPD), where she oversaw a world-class marketing team. As part of that, Srinivasan facilitated accelerated growth, innovation, and value for shareholders and customers worldwide.
While at Lightspeed, she doubled market share in key regions, quadrupled marketing efficiency, and helped drive 25% year-over-year growth at scale, leading the company to achieve its first profitable quarter in two decades.
Srinisan began her career as a software Engineer before transitioning to marketing roles. Her career took off, and she rose through the ranks as she moved between firms. Her positions included VP of Marketing at Betable, Global Head of Marketing and Integrated GTM at Dropbox, CMO and CRO at Owlet Baby Care, and SVP, Global Head of Marketing at Klaviyo.
Srinivasan commented, “I’m thrilled to join Freshworks at this pivotal moment where AI defines the future of service. Freshworks is uniquely positioned to lead this shift by delivering uncomplicated, AI-assisted solutions that cut through complexity and genuinely serve the customer. I look forward to working with this talented team to amplify our brand and accelerate growth through this efficient and superior path.”
Srinivasan is currently a Venture Advisor at Relay Ventures. She holds an MBA in Marketing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She also holds a BE in Computer Science and Engineering from RV College of Engineering.
Enterprise Times: What does this mean
Srinivisan seems a very good fit for Freshworks. As a software developer, she will understand the concept of creating technology that enhances human potential rather than replacing it. With experience gained from roles across various sectors, it seems a good fit for Freshworks. She is also an advocate of what she calls the multi-threaded marketer.
It is an approach she explained in a recent blog. She described it as “part strategist, part operator, part creative engine, part systems architect. Someone who can run multiple plays, in multiple modes, in parallel and interwoven, without descending into chaos or becoming the world’s saddest traffic controller.”
Expect to hear a lot more about Freshworks and experience this multi-threaded approach as 2026 unfolds. At You.com, the approach yielded 10X growth in a single quarter. It will be interesting to see what she can achieve at Freshworks, a significantly larger company. She will likely have a larger marketing budget, with a bigger needle to move.
