Precisely Completes FedRamp Authorisation for Data Governance Service

Precisely has completed the FedRAMP authorisation process for its Data Integrity Suite for Government, Data Governance Service.  The product started the review process in April 2024 and has now completed the assessment, achieving Authorised level. The independent Assessor was A-LIGN Compliance and Security, Inc. Precisely now boasts an entry on the FedRAMP marketplace, alongside over 480 other products.

The certification is important. It demonstrates that Precisely and its Data Governance service can be a trusted partner for federal agencies. With an Impact level of Moderate, the service contains over 325 security controls from the NIST SP 800-53 moderate baseline. It covers areas such as authentication, logging, vulnerability management, and data protection.

While this is not the highest impact level, it is a basic requirement for most Federal agencies and opens up a huge market for Precisely.

Federal, state, and local agencies will now have access to a data governance service that can help modernise their data governance in the cloud.
