Bodenhamer added that the $40 membership fee will be reduced to $25 for 2026 in hopes to generate more area residents to join and help support their efforts toward preserving the heritage of Baxter County. The first board meeting of the new year is scheduled for Jan. 05 and they will continue their monthly meetings at the Donald W. Reynolds Library serving Baxter County on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 6 in the Knox Room. For more information call 870-425-2551 or visit baxtercountyhistory.org.
